ABOUT US
I've always liked the older cars and truck since I was a kid and I bought my first classic back in 1976 when I got out of the Air Force. It was a 1955 Chevy 210. It was running a 402 big block engine backed by a Muncie 4 speed transmission with 411 gears in the rear. It could get from A to B in a hurry. I sold the 55 in 1977 and then bought a 1957 Chevy shortly after getting married. It was basically just a body and frame. I rebuilt a 283 sbc for the business end but never got to finish the car and sold it.

Fast forward to 2016 my wife and I decided to buy a Hot Rod. We looked for a pretty good while and came across a 1937 Ford truck in in Delaware so we had it shipped back. This was an old school Hot Rod with a Chevy 302 sbc pushing 400 hp backed by a Muncie 4 speed. The 411 gears kind of limited our highway travels so we called it our "City Truck". In 2018 we sold the 37 and was on the hunt for a truck that was more of a cruiser than a Hot Rod.
In November of 2019 I spotted a 1949 5 window pickup in southern KY so while we were on vacation in the Smokies we decided to stop by and check the truck out on our way back home. Well....the rest is history. We cut a deal and 3 days later we drove down to pick up our new truck. My wife gave the truck the name "Ruby" which seamed fitting for the color.
